    • Key areas of responsibility:

  • Developing high-quality code and continuously improving the appearance and usefulness of Efficio's client-facing software and in-house tools

  • Collaborating within an agile, multi-disciplinary team including developers, designers and QA

  • Assisting junior members of the software development team

    • Essential Requirements

    The candidate should have:
  • Significant experience with PHP or similar back-end language

  • Some knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS and JavaScript

  • Confidence using CI and distributed version control tools

  • Preferably some experience using virtualisation technology such as Docker

  • A test-driven development mindset; creating code that performs well, is clean and follows standards

  • Good problem-solving skills; working collaboratively with other developers to review code and share skills, experience and knowledge

  • Great communication skills; being able to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience

  • An appetite for innovation, contributing ideas that will improve Efficio’ s software


    • The candidate should be:
